But it doesn’t have to be that way! There are special shoe care products that protect your footwear from moisture, salt, dirt, and other external influences, helping to significantly extend their lifespan.
All the tools for proper shoe care are available - you just need to choose the right product based on the material and colour of your shoes. Did you know that:
- Shoe care products that are not intended for a specific material can actually damage your shoes. Always consider the shoe’s material and colour when choosing a care product. Otherwise, you may end up with shoes covered in uneven colour spots.
- Wet shoes should never be placed on a radiator for quick drying, as this can cause the soles to crack or detach. Instead, keep your shoes in a dry, well-ventilated place.
- Shoe care products should be applied at least 15 minutes before going out. Otherwise, they won’t have time to penetrate the leather, and the effect will be minimal. Even better, take care of your shoes the night before - giving the product time to work ensures the best results.
- Shoes also need care from the inside. For this purpose, there are various insoles that protect both your shoes and your feet from moisture and sweat.
