Most OmaKing sandals are made using a stitching technique, where the upper is sewn to the outsole instead of glued. This method has several advantages. Since this is largely a manual process — each pair of sandals is hand-stitched — we can ensure the highest quality. Secondly, this technique allows the footwear to be repaired, and if necessary, the upper part can be replaced. Moreover, it is a more environmentally friendly method, as the amount of chemicals used in the production process is significantly lower.

OmaKing sandals have a more classic appearance — timeless, simple, and suitable for everyone. The models feature a wide last and a comfortable sole that keeps the foot securely “in the cup.” Most OmaKing sandals have ergonomic insoles, which means your feet get tired much less even after long hours of standing — making them perfect for work. Many models come with removable ergonomic insoles that can be replaced with new ones, extending the life of your sandals and making them feel like new again. Equally important, all OmaKing sandals have adjustable uppers, so they fit a wide range of foot shapes and heights.
TOKU sandals feature slightly more playful cuts, yet remain classic and wearable for years. In the TOKU collection, you’ll find models for both wider and narrower feet, including slip-on styles (Helsinki and Roma) and strap-fastened styles (Berlin and Athena). The latter are perfect for travelling and covering long distances without worrying about blisters.
Another essential aspect of footwear is the use of foot-friendly materials, such as natural leather and soft linings against the skin. We source our leather carefully from trusted European manufacturers, ensuring it meets all EU standards. All leather used in European production is a by-product of the food industry, meaning animals are not raised specifically for their hides.
To guarantee comfort and quality, it has become standard practice at OmaKing and TOKU that every new model must pass numerous test kilometres before it’s approved for production. We involve all our employees and their families in this process to ensure the models are tested on a wide variety of feet.
Customer feedback is also very important to us — both from our online store and from direct conversations with long-time customers at fairs and events. Thanks to this, we’ve been able to continuously improve our models to make them even more durable and comfortable.
